Another strange Christmas and New Year, but I hope we all enjoy it as best we can.
We'll be alone for the second year, but we have a turkey breast and thigh thawing out, and a Christmas pudding also ready to go.

Merry Christmas!
My son is 3 and we just left out the milk and cookies for santa, he is very excited but says he finds santa a bit scary! Had to reassure him that santa will just come and leave the gifts and he won't see him

We are at Xmas Day evening now and I shall soon dish up the turkey roast with trimmings.

Today was white!!
It is not very often that Vancouver has a White Christmas, but we woke to about 3-4 cm of snow, and cold temperatures so it is going to last for a few days.

It was only with this post that I realised how great the time difference is - I'm watching day one of the Boxing day test here.
Edit - that's the Ashes third test for those who don't know.
