Meet ups!
Hi
We moved to Wasaga Beach in May and I was wondering if anyone "meets up" around here like they do in other places?
Sure can be a lonely place if you let it!!!

We were recently in Wasaga. Do you have one of those houses with a dock, and a big deck with a hundred or so barely dressed drunken students writhing on it?

There are some BE'ers around Wasaga, we are south of you, there is a meet up in Cobourg in August, see this thread quite a drive but probably very worth it, as we will all be there...

I haven't been on BE for ages, however there are plenty of us Brits in Wasaga. Nina (the wife) and I live on Basswood Drive, in the New Wasaga Sands sub division. We have been here almost 3 years.
CanadaBound (Helen and Andy) live in the same sub division but on Maple. Katy and Andy (i forget their BE handle) live 2 doors down from me.
Do you have kids? If so which school are they in. My youngest, Harrison will be joining grade 1 in Worsley in the fall, whilst Lauren my oldest is going into Grade 6 at the extended French program at Admiral School Collingwood.

Since both families run their own business i am pretty sure they would take any advertising they can get.
