I did spent the bulk of my first month in hospital though, went home for a week then several weeks in hospital with meningitis so I guess my first month or so wasn't the best for my parents.

Crazy. My son also spent his first few months in and out of hospital. He had a digestive problem. It certainly is scary for mum and dad!
