Default Lost - Laptop and iPad

I left a laptop and an iPad (as well as some personal papers) for a friend in a parking garage.

Seemed a perfectly reasonable thing to do. I do it all the time.

Anyway, they've gone missing. Can anyone offer any information as to their whereabouts?

Have you checked inside your car? They may have moved from the garage after you paid the parking fee.

You left valuables worth over $1000 lying around in the parking garage?!

Is this some kind of joke...?

I thought crime didn't exist in Canada, one could leave cars undone, valuables in sight and they would still be there 10 years later

Well, it is astonishing what some people expect us to believe.

Brooks has said the bag was dropped by a friend who was trying to return it to him but accidently left it in the wrong part of the garage.

As opposed to a more 'sensible' part of a parking garage.
