LOST DOG

ok - prob a long shot
but if any of you North Vanners or any Vanners / BCers are heading to Deep Cove tomorrow - pl look out for my dog - we went today at 5pm to do the BP trail to Grey rock - at end of Panorama Drive and he got confused (he is a dog of little brain) and began running back down the trail well before we did - there were quite a few sightings - but despite 2 hrs searching of the area and peeps seeing him sitting by our car - to no avail - we have had to come home without him - kids distraught.
have rung the SPCa's - but out of office hours now - left phone number with lots of peeps there who saw him running - and will go back tomorrow with some pics

He is a small black lab cross called Brady . . .

May I suggest...you go back in the morning, just before sunrise, and take something of yours with the household "smell" on it. Leave it openly where you last saw him (with your cell number attached to it explaining why its there) and start calling him. There are the least wildlife sounds just before sunrise, and he will have the best chance of hearing you. I lost my wolf cross twice - once in Golden Ears and once in Chilliwack, and found him both times doing this. Fingers crossed.

Really hope you find him, I would have camped out been eaten by bears and whatever but I know how hard it must have been for you to leave him, hope he's ok and you get reunited soon

If you had moved to Saskatchewan you still be able to see him, but no you had to move to Vancouver.

Sorry couldn't resist.
Seriously I'm sorry to hear of his disappearance and I hope he is returned home very soon.
