wow - I just love the quote that the manhole covers "jumped off the ground" I have this great image of them have little legs and jumping about! (sorry - its been a long week!)

I did think I heard some sort of a thump ... enough so that I went around to see what had fallen over. I opened the front door and saw a big wadge of free papers on our front decking and assumed the paper delivery person had been rather more emphatic than usual when he hurled them from the street!

We were too far away from the explosion to have the black-sludge-from-the-drains effect!

No .... but I know it is up for rent, if anybody fancies staying in a large lake-front house with exploding toilets!
