Default life list

no, nothing to do with birds I saw a link 'somewhere' on here a while back and meant to book mark it but didn't . It was a link to some personal development site where you had to answer yes to 100 questions to have a complete, happy life. Anyone know where it is?

PMSL Just had a skim-read of those 100 questions and I don't think answering yes to all of them makes you able to say you have a more complete, happy life - just a rather dull one!

I didn't answer any of them, and I'm still happy.

My husband and I did that separately last month. Our scores were quite different

I sent it to some suitably mixed-up friends of mine for their input.

I actually found it quite an interesting take on things. I don't think everyone would have the same baseline for 'happiness' anyway - so this questionnaire only starts on what I presume is an 'average' for most people. A few questions I thought completely daft - a few made me stop and think, and a few, though not particularly thought-provoking for me, were spot-on with hitting the troubled minds of friends. I wonder if they took the hint. Many people do carry so much crap and baggage around for years. Not me, of course .....

Nothing wrong with looking at the all these aspects of your life. And if it clarifies a few things - and makes you tidy your cupboards, what the heck

I enjoyed it, as a semi-serious exercise in clearing the brain of some crap!

Thank you that was it! I haven't looked at it that closely but remember thinking it was pretty unobtainable. ANyway I said I'd send it to a friend!

I dunno, I think there is some good stuff in there... it certainly helped me to take a look at stuff from a different angle. Soem of its just a bit weird though e.g 'I don't injure myself, fall or bump into things.' How the hell do you change that!

I don't look toooo deeply at it. I take it as "Do you tidy up stuff that you constantly fall over cos you're too lazy to take it back upstairs" kind of thing

But if one is affected by sight problems, for example, can you change or amend things in your life so as not to hurt yourself. Sounds so bloody obvious really, doesn't it, but my brother, who is partially sighted, could do so much more to his environment to make things easier on himself !

And the poster who questioned the "complete with past loves" thing - again, on it's simplest level, do you carry round anger, resentment or lust after something that is now 'gone' ?! Easy to say yes or no; harder to actually resolve (especially the lust ).

That makes a lot more sense! Still I could stay in a padded cell and injure myself somehow!
