On the note of people holding something for you just in case you return. Just before I left in 1963 (aged 16) I got pulled over by a not so nice policeman for riding my bicycle at night with no lights. When I asked if I would have to appear in court he asked why, so I said if I do that's too bad because I wont be here, we're off to Canada. Miserable sod walked me home to confirm with my dad. Just before we left we received a letter from the police that basically said: seeing as you're leaving the country charges against you will be dropped, BUT should you return and get in trouble with the police this charge will be brought forth at that time. I wonder if they're still holding it for me?;):sneaky::p |

My buddy still has my much loved Thorens TD125 / SME series III turntable, plus a collection of extremely dodgy 80s and 90s vinyl in his attic. If I could figure out a way to ship it here in one piece without costing the earth I would probably take it back... its safe to say I think Im staying....
