Just in case you come back!!!
 
Hi
My mum is in denial about our move. I have been sorting out things in the house for a good while now.
Today she asked me what I was doing with my toaster and kettle. I asked her if she wanted them. She said " No but I'll get your dad to put them in the loft in case you come back"
This week has not been easy but I nearly wet myself laughing.

How do you know you won't come back? Many people do. I am even thinking myself about 'what if we don't like it' etc.... :)

I know I am going in about two months time and I dread saying goodbye to everyone I think Im denial thinking Im going over for a holiday but Im sure I will be okay when Im there,when are you going and where

Maybe I should have pointed out that a kettle and toaster is not something that will make me decide to come back.
I saw the whole episode as a bit of light relief in an otherwise shitty week.

I still have a couple of power tools and a kettle stored in my parents-in-law's basement.

They've been there for 32 years. :)

Yup I have an airbrushing kit, an amp and an electric guitar back in the UK in storage.

Not enough to make me wanna go back either :thumbup: You gotta laugh though hey :)

God knows whats at my mum n dads- but will have a scout thru when we visit in Oct
AB - think it makes the people staying behind feel a little less like they are losing you completely!
