You haven't lived until you've had a nice slice of raspberry ripple ice cream in a hot buttered toast sandwich.

There was always a cup of dripping in the fridge if we had a roast and not content with just spreading it on bread I had to also put salt on it. Obviously lard and bread wasn't quite nutritious enough for the 8 year old Alan2005.

Enjoy your snow day ;)

Day? :) I wish. We've been without any thaw in almost 2 weeks.

4, I'm pretty sure this whole "winter wonderland" will wear thin after a while

It doesn't have to be hard work here though. You either:

a) park vehicle in heated double garage, enter garage through door from house get in, open auto garage door with remote, start vehicle and drive, or

b) Lean out of front door and start vehicle with remote starter, let vehicle warm up for 10 minutes then jump in and squirt windscreen with -40 degree washer fluid (yes it really works) and off you go all nice and toasty (that word belongs in another thread)
