I enjoyed yesterday. It was nostalgic, like seeing an old friend after years of absence. The garden was happy, the lawn turned green, and I got a summer full of bugs off my windscreen.

However, just like meeting an old friend from years past you realize things are not the same anymore. You have moved on in your life, you have had different experiences and the ties that bound you together are looser than ever before.

Today I am thinking enough already. I could cope with another month of summer.

Rainfall warning is up on the Weatheroffice webpage. If we get heavy rain and strong winds overnight and lots of leaves still on the trees I expect to have a lot of raking to do by tomorrow evening.

I saw the foot of grouse for 10mins earlier!
Still im not going to complain, its stopped the noisy construction workers on the corner of Lonsdale and 3rd from making noise.

Someone ordered winter too early this year :( Since the kids went back to school it has rained practically non stop and in the last week the temperature has really dropped and wind is freezing!
I want summer back...or at least a decent fall!
