Default It's a dry cold..

Said the weatherman on Chex TV. He was talking about in Saskatchewan and Alberta, apparently Ontario is a damp cold.

hahahaha.

It's all relative. Now all we need to do is find somewhere that says the cold in GB is dry.

-34C here in NS today but expecting a whopping increase of 41C to the balmy temperature of +7C on Thursday. I think it may be a dry cold with wet rain that day

It was a wee bit nippy here too this morning, but nothing like that.

I'm quite pleased that I don't have to spend a week in February in Ottawa this year (for the first time in 4 years).

It's cold here too. Oddly, it was warmer in Quebec. Still the local rapscallions are up to mischief. This message, which I could hardly read due to the scale, is scrawled on the ice across the road.

our dry cold is turning the snow into mush - then freezing it - then mushing it again

For some reason the Gatineau airport often seems to be a cold spot. I imagine that north of Gatineau in the deep woods it was even colder.
