It actually warmed up during the night to -22, but over the last few hours it's dropped back to -36. Cold enough to test your frosticles. High today -24, -20 tomorrow then we should be out of it and some unseasonably warm weather will move in. That will be nice. :)

It's warmed up to above zero here.

We had snow yesterday followed by freezing rain overnight and it's now raining. A flash freeze is on the cards later. The roads will be a death trap. I am staying indoors today.

I just skated my way across our parking lot at work. It must have taken me 10 minutes to go about 50 metres. I have learned to cope with the snow but I cannot do this ice stuff. it is horrific

Not much has changed here, currently +2, expected high Monday +4 and a low Monday of 0, with a chance of mixed precip. I will be surprised if its anything but rain though.

Go get some slip-on cleats and put them on before you fall and break a leg. It's extremely painful. ;)

I have cleats but have logistical problems with them. I need to take the off when I navigate the subway as they are lethal on escalators but have no where to put them on when I exit onto street level.

University of Guelph obviously hired some rookies to clear their parking lots this morning. What a mess. Someone got beached and every corner/intersection was badly done meaning there were little islands of high snow in the natural turning areas. Ended up reversing my way back out instead of trying to gun it through.

No shortage of "skilled drivers" in lowered Honda Accords with tinted windows up for making a fool of themselves though.

Ha! "Snow falls in Canada, chaos results", is a surprising headline only to people who don't live here.

Yes they are a bit of a hassle, and I've even fallen while wearing them. They're uncomfortable unless there's a little snow cushion too. Glad we aren't getting all that ice here!
