A great bedtime read. 2 pages is my record.

It's actually on my wish list. Is it dry?

Sadly not for my aging and brittle bones anymore. :(

I'd also suggest America by Jean Baudrillard. It's a hoot.

Yes, that is good. Baudrillard I mean, not your bones. I've read a lot of his stuff.

I'm not that far into it yet, but it's not dry. Rather the opposite so far. I'm looking forward to getting stuck into it, but it's one of these ones that will take me a long time to read. I enjoy history books so it'll be interesting to read a book that is, but isn't, a history book.

I can understand that.

I had not heard of that.

Oooh, that would give me nightmares. The idea of being locked up in prison... just thinking about it gives me the heebee geebees.

Thanks for the ideas so far... I'm gonna take a muscle relaxant or two, find a sunbeam and have a cat nap ... with my National Enquirer. :p

The Naked Jape by Jimmy Carr is quite a decent read for a couple of hours.

Anyone read anything interesting lately? I prefer non-fiction.

Suggestions please.

I could speak to players and give them examples of injuries and how they heal. Me, myself - I pick up a great volume of art . . .” (Bob Paisley). I'm not much of an artist, yet I may suggest this activity book to pass the time:

Funny how Shatner and Blair can so easily go together in one sentence. Reading 'The Fry Chronicles' at the moment. Not bad. :)

I was lazy and listened to him read it, having read Moab myself. I actually enjoyed listening to him read it as I probably would have heard him in my head anyway.
