Any way looks like the stalker is coming for tea so the kids can tidy up for me...I wonder how long it will take before they decide they're not bored any more

Well, I hate to tell you - that is just families...I resent the fact that OH parents retired nearly 3 years ago and promised that they would come over a visit the children every other week ... they've been twice of their own volition and twice helping us with big jobs...otherwise we have to constantly trapse to Bristol and yet - OH sister was forever dumping her son on them...say no more - beginning to feel blood boil - no she has Myeloma so she will be hiding behind that as an excuse now...

Bio mum wouldn't come to visit cos she didn't want to leave the dog with her Husband???
Families are weird and I can't wait to get to Canada so theres a real reason why they don't visit

Dont have a clue who stalker is, It might be fun to find out,
Is stalker coming for real tea at your real house - or virtual tea??

am worried now!

Funny I was watching (well all of us) the documentary / reconstruction thing on C4 yesterday - Swimming with Sharks...upshot being, diving in Solomons and drifted away from boat, boat had to go, left divers, in water 26+ hours, swam 20 miles before being rescued by boat 100 yards from shore...

Myeloma - it is a cancer of the plasma cell - so effectively you could call it a bone marrow cancer....

Call me mean...(OH felt same), but as she told us in the new year...I don't know if she was doing the reverse psychology thing, but if so it backfired on her...she said "I know you have plans, don't let this change them" (OH is eldest of 3). We talked and I put my stake in the ground from the off (CP- see what I mean - something has happened to me this year) and said I am not prepared to give up on the dream for our children to have a better life...I was very lucky because he felt the same way too.

Its funny - we were both bought up very differently in some respects, but in otherways, we both hate the same things about how we were bought up!

I agree with you, you cant give up on your dream for any one or anything. I know its not the same but my sis thought we'd stay when she told us she was pregnant again, and i'm of the opinion that i'm opening doors for them as well as my family..... Its up to them to take hold of the handle, so we're going.... whatever!

Well she was so determined to see the girls - could give a sh*te about me - I told her that Puddleduck had a very runny nose and we'd all had a funny tummy - but she was adamant - so that was my very feeling - if she is so determined then if it kills her...I will say I told you so!

Its a great big opportunity and you don't know how long that opportunity will be there, both our fathers are unwell but i know they wouldn't try and stop us, but i think its hard for both mums to accept we are still going, im sure they think we won't actually go, its going to be hard because my parents won't be able to visit which is a shame, so will have to come back and see them.

strange reaction by friends as well some think its great that we are going and others think we are silly for giving everything we have here up

be interesting to see how many actually come and visit

As I explained - she ruined our wedding plans the first time...(well it was our second attempt - I would have hated to have thought what she would have made of our first thoughts...we were going to have a medieval wedding...codpieces and all). We didn't give up on all our dream - we still retained this element...
