After your bog standard latte - this is the most popular drink I make at work - Earl Grey Tea Misto - half water, half steamed milk - with a vanilla syrup chaser.

Sorry folks, but yuck!! :p

that sounds seriously disgusting!! earl grey teabags should be infused in the cup for 3-5 mins and then drank black - with sweetners if necessary.

Earl Grey teabags should be consigned to the ninth level of Hell along with butterscotch syrup and non-fat, skinny, steamed, cat-digested coffee bean, mocha-chocca lattes.

Now you really are having a laugh. Sugar in Earl Grey. Give me a break.

Nothing wrong with milk in it, but sugar is way beyond the pale.

Usually Ill drink english breakfast, but a nice cup of earl grey in the afternoon sometimes hits the spot. I was only asking anyway...didnt mean to start a flame war!

Just because Earl Grey is a "black tea" doesnt mean its served without milk thankyouverymuch.

I'm going to post your teabag secret on the Reds website and then you'll see. :sneaky:

Besides - I don't take the opinion of a happy 'E' tablet seriously.

Do you think we could get pre-approval instantly or certainly at the very least a positive LMO for a Cup / Pot of Tea making school. We would provide the very best in Tea bags to cater for all tastes, sugar lumps for those interested along with little silver tongs, milk (any variety), we'll borrow Alviks Teapot, and for the Vancouver branch its bring your own pot...

and the remaining thing that we will provide so that "one might get a decent cuppa" is

BOILING BLOODY WATER! :p

Re: I'm making a cup of tea

Unfortunately on our Recci - I got coffee overload (went off it a bit when I was pregnant last and I'm wondering if the hormones still lingering), so as a result on occasions I switched to tea.

It was a shame - I'm sure the tea itself is perfectly palatable, but the problem we found was that the water they filled the teapot with (which was more than likely put in a cold tea pot) was the coffee filtered water temperature

So, tea in houses probably fine, tea out and about - big no no unless you specify boiling water I guess.

:p
