I need a (new) drink
Gin and tonic has lost its magic.
I like a martini but my tummy doesn't
Dry white wine - ditto
Red wine - sometimes ditto
Don't like whisky, rum, tequila.
Can't drink beer.
Hate cider.
Am I doomed to drink sweet wine and sherry??
Have I become an old woman?
Will the next step be clutching a kleenex at all times? Will I find myself buying fleece jackets with bird and leaf embroidery?

Be au fait with where the future is going. Calvados. You can get a reasonable bottle at the LCBO (not a good one).
<Or, if that's too much for your delicate constitution, then Pommeau. Trouble is, I'd have to import it specially for you, so it'd cost you big time>.

Re: I need a (new) drink
No, no, no. There must be something more
Maybe.
Tried it in the 70s and didn't like it.
Maybe try that, but it's apples again.
Thanks for the suggestions so far.....keep 'em coming
Flavoured vodkas, maybe that's where it's at.

Re: I need a (new) drink
I was going to suggest these, but thought you might do the head bashing smiley at me
I had a Raspberry Vodka and sprite the other night. Sweet, pretty raspberry-ish and far too gluggable. Of course, then I had to try the Citron flavour and the cranberry one too
I've seen a chocolate one too, which filled me with horror, till I decided that if you added orange juice, it could be a liquid Terry's Chocolate Orange. No need to tap it and unwrap it - just go straight for a straw

Of course I could renact my youth and drink vodka and lime. Now that would warrant a head banging smiley.
