How things are so spookie....
Hi,
In preperation for our eventual move, the wife has been sorting out her boxes of 'saved things' from holidays and outings and shes came across an item from our very first trip to Canada over 10yrs ago. We went on our honey moon to Lake Louise and she saved a Mt Begbie Brewery, Revelstoke beer mat...
Spookie thing is, were going to live in Revelstoke....
Go figure that one out...
Cheers,
Andy & Jackie

I nearly ended up living in Clacton at one horrible but mercifully short point in my life.
On the up-side though, we could have played for the Clacton Penguins (Field) Hockey Club rather than the Worthing Penguins we played for at the time!

I've only seen Clacton on Sea, from the sea, going past it by boat. It's much the best view of the place....

**plays short clip from twilight zone music** As some of you know, we want to move to Nova Scotia ...... my Dad recently gave my daughter some antique coins that belonged to his Father ................ we found a couple from Nova Scotia dated in the 1860's! I'm wondering how my late Grandad got them? Strange but true.
However, as yet we've not been able to get to NS :curse:

My friend in Aberdeen went to OZ on vacation to stay with her sister and family. Whilst at a party she met someone who stayed in the exact same house she lived in at that time

For our hols this summer we are doing a house swap with a family in Victoria.
Turns out the guy was born in our village !!
And we contacted them first so it wasnt them that set it up ....
If this one goes well we will try for NS next year..... (or October if Mr&Mrs Mastercard allow )

That's really nice. We were seriously thinking of Revelstoke. It was our first choice in BC but we ended up east in Nova Scotia instead. Hope it all goes well, it looks like a great place
