I got 16/20 with no calculator or pen/paper. better at maths than grammar but I surprised myself.

No calculator, no algebra lessons (refused and dropped Maths aged 12!) - 10/20 - I don't even know what brackets mean!

Yeh, like you not knowing the all the kings and queens of England... brackets don't often pop up in my daily life

I'm actually surpised by how often I do find algebra useful ..... basic of course.

Normally trying to calculate the value of some (more than one?) unknown ... (trying and failing to think of an example.....)

Well I didn't do very well - I'm going to be brave here and tell you all 9/20, however, no calculator and I've had 3hrs sleep in 48 (working last night) and i'm now on my third mudslide, so hopefully (i'm grasping at straws here) that's a fairly good excuse for being a bit thick!!

Told you I'd do better on this one than the English one - maths is closer to my first language than English.

20/20, with no calculator, just pen and paper for some of them.
