Re: How Safe??

I really don't understand why anyone buys that muck anyway (can't believe I used to drink it often, either).

Sure, some might raise the point of convenience but I think a medium coffee or tea from Tim's is more expensive than a beer from a multi-pack or a 500ml chocolate milk (which are just as easy to purchase). Come to think of it, it's even more expensive than a litre of gas - and tastes just as repulsive.

I heard on the radio that tim hortons has gone all posh and is now selling branded single cup coffee packets in supermarkets like startbucks does.

You're lucky. I reckon it's a 50 50 chance of getting it back, especially in a shithole like Tim Hortons.

I had 2 iPods stolen in Vancouver

Lived a lovely crime free life in the UK

nothing happened here....was seriously assaulted in the UK....50, 50 i guess;)

What are you doing with these IPODS anyway?

3 phones? Well that's just retarded.

I don't frequent the shitty parts so I wouldn't know how honest Tim Hortons patrons, or homeless people who drink in them, are.

I did chase one off after punching him in the face when he was vile to my wife though

I bet he's on a blog somewhere commenting on how some Brit cracked him one....tis a violent place after all.

>>>seriously you have to be careful here doing that. You could get yourself charged. I had to charge a security guard from the UK at the Bay who got too heavy handed with a tea leaf.

Yep it doesn't change my perception to be any different than it was in the UK. I still feel very safe.

It was both mine and my wifes ipods. We use them to listen to music, privately :D

I think i did some damage after hearing a pop (and feeling the crunch). He was being a dick while my wife was outside waiting for me to pick her up. When i pulled up she was quite upset so i asked him to **** off. He called her a name and tried to grab between her legs so i decked him.

But you're right, it's not the best thing to be doing these days. :o

That's uncanny. The same thing happened to me in the same place!
I was waiting outside the Georgia when the woman who owns it came out and grabbed me between the legs. I told her she had just 15 minutes to let go.
