How many people going to Wasaga Beach

Just wondering from my own forays on BE there seems to be a large amount of people going to Wasaga Beach. Can we do a roll call, at the moment there seems to be about 6 families going to be within about an hour of the beach

Regards

Steve:rofl::thumbsup:

Hopefully next summer just for a holiday but we have only just sent our SW forms away so it will be a long, long, long wait until the actual move!

The Beach is the fastest growing community in Canada and is about to undergo a HUGE expansion.

I live about 1/2 hour from there, never visit, my community you pay at least 50% more for the same house.

Wasaga Beach is becoming Newmarket North, due to the Liberal freeze on development in the Moraine, the developers have moved here.

$250,000 will get you a nice 3 bedroom , 2 car garage home.

Most aren't they are Retirees, others commute to Barrie or TO.

Many Seniors here continue to work, part Time , out of interest.

Many at the Golf Courses as Marshalls or Greeters, others ar the Resorts in a variety of functions, at the many small stores in the area, lots of work for people who don't need a high wage.

A large Equestrian Centre, larger than Spruce Meadows will be built in my town, lots of jobs, full or part time.

Now, sure, geriatric care must be a major business there. I don't really see how that's compatible with a significant expansion unless old people are going to be trucked in from all over.

That's interesting but such facilities are only good employers of illegal immigrants. Is it intended as a competitor to Palgrave?

That's just a brilliant idea. I suppose we can at least count on lots of work for paramedics, surgeons, nurses and the like.
