How has your winter been?

Less snow than last winter although the kids seem to have had more snow days than last time.
Only one snowfall was too much for me, the kids and shovelling. I paid for a driveway clearance by tractor/snowblower. That's just twice in four winters for a total $80. I'm glad I didn't fork out for a snowblower.
Of course it's not over yet. It's only the middlle of March.:curse:

On a hill in northern Nova Scotia (roughly the same latitude as Milan, Italy).
Lots of snow, lots of ice (but not really anything that caused any disruption) and it was no where near as cold as last winter
I often think, for those of us who have the regular working week, that the only time the winter weather really is an issue is when you're walking from the house to the car, then from the car to get into work.... Or when there are power outages. Just before winter kicked off I got one of those wind proof/water proof/insulated/light weight coats and I think it was worth every cent ... and there were no power outages
Anyway, I have mostly positive thoughts and fond memories of winter 08/09 ..some captured by video and photo:
Unforgettable blizzard on New Years day.
