Then to cap it all I received a text from my best mate in the UK to say that another friend had gone out for a drink last friday night and a woman picked an arguement with her. This woman then started a fight with my friend and kicked her repeatedly in her head whilst the woman's boyfriend held my friend down to the ground

My friend was rushed to hospital and ended up on a life support machine.

Unfortunately on Saturday the doctors decided that there was no brain activity at all and her life support machine was turned off She died later that day

Our only consolation is that the police caught the woman and her boyfriend and are now charging them with my friends murder - which is good as justice will hopefully be done for this insane and uncalled for act of violence. But what will be done for her two daughters - a life without a mother's love and guidance

A very sad Gaynor
Well some of you will have read that Grandad actually passed this last week - blessing in disguise really as he had no quality of life and that was just not what he would have wanted.

Anyways.....

The part above about my girlfriend - I have finally gotten to the bottom of with the help of my good old mom and the story goes like this.

Pauline was working in a bar in the town where I used to live when someone rung and asked her to go home - she had left her 16 year old daughter at home and by all accounts there was quite a bit of noise coming from the house. I can only imagine that she was having a party with mom being out.

So Pauline goes home to sort her daughter out and her neighbour comes out giving her an earful about the noise but before she could go in the house and sort out her daughter then woman neighbour set on her beating her to the ground.

The part about the man holding her down whilst the woman kicked the sh it out of her is right I am afraid.

I find this totally mystifying how someone can end up dead after some noise caused by a child.

I myself do feel better now that I know exactly what happened to her and deep down I knew that someone who had known her well had done this to her as she was so well known in the area having been born and bred there. I just hope that justice is brought on these people and they get what they deserve for taking someones life away so brutally and abruptly.

Had to post what had happened as I like to tell the whole story and not just pieces.

Woah - can't believe I missed this thread.

Firstly condolences for you and yours regarding your Grandad - as many have said it is an end to any suffering and you can at least rest easy knowing he is safe and happy now.

However regarding your friend - what complete f*****g moron would beat a mother to death over noise by a sixteen year old. This poor child now will have this to deal with for the rest of her life - god it makes me so angry that your buddy was doing the best she could to bring money in and raise her kids and some retard goes and ruins a whole families life because they don't have the eloquence to deal with it like adults.

My god its heartbreaking and I am so sorry for everything that you have - and are - going through.

I cannot do or say anything to change the situation and if I could I really really would - just to say I feel for you hun, stay strong
