Why not, if it makes you happy to wear it?

It might make you happy but could cause shocks to the general public!

I like some of the "shorter" shorts, and I know I can get into them, they fit well, etc.. BUT I just dont think a 43 yr old woman should be parading around with me arse out -however, toned it is! - however to each their own . . .

Yes I agree that we shouldnt be forced into not wearing stuff because we are ashamed off what we look like however, I think we also need to look at the other end of the spectrum .

Last summer we had a teen promo at the gym - some beautiful girls in v v v v teeny micro shorts, we did have to ask them to wear some thing that would cover their modesty - especially on some the machines they were using. But looked fab in the em

So, so as long as the police don't arrest you then you can wear what you please?

it's about dressing age and shape appropriate.

I suppose it depends on how you have been bought up as to what you see as looking good - but you don't have to be skinny or rich to look nice / fashionable / beautiful.

Who decides what is age and shape appropriate? Those outfits seemed in keeping with fashions in the UK right now.

As long as the laws of the land aren't broken then people should be able to wear what they like to a racemeeting. Those women looked happy in their outfits, maybe they loved the colours, the feel of the fabric. So why not wear them? Do we dress for ourselves or to please others?

I teased Iain for his sock with sandals but good for him for doing what works for him. I even did the same myself a few weeks ago, and the world didn't end for me. I've done this whole judgemental thing in the past and complied with the notion that some body parts need to be covered up or disguised but now it feels wrong to me, wear what makes you feel good and not what others approve of.

If indeed your lower back is covered in darkened skin depicting something displaced from a moose's head, I thank you for not exhibiting it however comfortable you might be in doing so.
