Well, England look destined to meet the Dutch in the Semis now.

It was fun while it lasted, but I suspect that will be the end of the road, the dutch have the stingiest defence in the tournament, and England have been leaking goals. Nothing worse than loosing a semi.

Hmm. The little I know about World Cup Hockey suggests you might be right. The Dutch are usually the sport's Brazil.

But you never know... :fingerscrossed:

That will teach me to make predictions! Korea beat the Dutch, so England get to lose valiantly in the Semis to reining world and olympic champions Germany instead! Still, hats off to them for getting to the last 4, positive signs in the lead up to 2012.

The big question is however, can Canada finaly get a result (or at least avoid defeat) against fellow strugglers Argentina! 1 down at half time:(

Steve, if you dont have anything to say, why not just say nothing:confused: Its a significant game, Canada are actually above Argentina in the world rankings, but perhaps not for much longer. Could affect seedings for the olympic qualification.

They are showing the hockey world cup on the free preview of CBN. Which is nice.

O ye of little Faith! It'll be 4-2 to Ingurland, the third goal will controversially bounce of both posts and the crossbar before spinning out again. The fourth will come in the dying seconds while fans invade the pitch and some twat commentator says "they think it's all over..... well it is now".

Deja vue in Delhi all over again.

I haven't had time to worry about such trivial things as hangovers. I'm too busy trying to figure out how to deliver to the clients I picked up yesterday.

That, and contemplating the prospect of tearing around eastern Europe. Thanks, boss.

Also comtemplating the VISA bill from last night.

I thought I must have been undercharged, perhaps you inadvertently bought several of my beers?
