Default Heathrow hotels?

Anyone have any suggestions for moderately priced hotels around Heathrow when I go over this summer? I don't want to have to make a 3-4 hour train trip from my parents' place to the airport the day I fly back , so ideally somewhere that I can get to easily from the airport the day before and can just roll out of bed and get a bus in the day I leave .

I've always flown from Gatwick before and found a decent place there, but have no idea about Heathrow; from poking around on the web the best compromise between price and service seems to be the Premier Inn on Bath Road, although it's not clear how to get there and back from the airport. But that's based on random reviews from random people on the web .

My inlaws live a stone's throw away, if you promise to bring me back a case of jaffa cakes I will see if they will let you crash on their couch.

Stayed there last year and was quite impressed with the facilities as it was very cheap. It's very easy to reach, just get the No. 6 Hoppa bus from outside terminal 1, 2 or 3. It stops in the hotel forecourt and runs quite frequently.

The hotel has sorted out the problems they were having with check in and have now organised a proper queuing system rather than a sharp elbowed scrum. Breakfast was OK as well.

Thanks, I guess I'll book a place there tonight. Much as I'd prefer to save money, I'm not sure I can handle sleeping on the couch these days .

Last couple of times I've needed a Heathrow hotel I've stayed at the Jurys Inn which is near Hatton Cross tube & Term #4. http://heathrowhotels.jurysinns.com/ Prices have been reasonable compared to others in the area. Access via a hotel hoppa bus but they also do a reasonably priced limo service to take you back to the Terminal. More convenient for T4 than anywhere else though.

What is the point of thinking your so smart when you are still afraid of a girl. No go run off and have a tizzy fit, I think I saw a complimentary post about Thatcher
