Having a really BAD F'ing Day.

Ever had one of those days when you want to find somewhere to hide and never come out. Am having one of those. I seem to have crumbled into some sort of freaked out emotional wreck. Am off to seek out coffee and ponder why I gave up smoking all those years ago.

I've had a quiet a few days like that which usually involved burst into tears at the slightest thing (this was mostly when I was feeling homesick). I hope whatever is bothering you passes soon and that the coffee help a little.

Is this a private club or can anyone join? go ahead have a moan - and while you're at it have a moan for me. By law I am not allowed to murder the 3 guys that work alongside me - but I am sitting here imagining ways in which I can secretly be wicked to them! it might help by giving me some suggestions on how I can be secretly mean. I have already thought about replacing their seasick pills with HRT ones!

And for any guys out there coming back with smart ass answers don't p*ss us off anymore!

You go ahead AmyDavid and moan - we're all allowed an off day!

Re: Having a really BAD F'ing Day.

Well...! My OH flew back to the UK last night for his brothers funeral this week. It's one week since it happened.

I am worried sick out money at the moment - though am going to try and sit down tonight and work myself out a plan that will see us through.

I am feeling awful with this cold and really sore throat - tho can look on the bright side of this one - sore throat = no eating = skinnier me. Can't be bad.

2 children annoying the hell out of each other and the cat whilst I am trying to make phone calls - why do kids do this? You don't hear a peep out of them and as soon as they know you are on the phone, they make enough noise for a whole house of kids!

I wouldn't normally let things get on top of me but I think my OH's brother dying has kind of given me a kick in the stomach and sent me all out.

Am feeling marginally better now - must be the thought of sending the kids out into the snow for a bit whilst I sit and listen to the peace and quiet!

Re: Having a really BAD F'ing Day.

Oh AmyDavid - I had complelty forgotten about the funeral - how very insensitive of me! Please forgive me! Yes I know how rotten you must be feeling - and being apart from OH and family isn't easy at a time like this.

Tried to send more Karma - but I've got to spread it around a bit more - but rest assured I'm thinking of you!

Liff

It's normal Amy, you've kept going all week for your OH,
now he's gone, things are catching up on you, especially
as you don't feel very well, and have no family around to help you:(
Does it help I've got a big jar of Branston Pickle with
your name on it:unsure:
I think we need to plan a girl's night out next week:thumbsup:

Slight moan myself .. took kids to dentist tonight for their last UK check-up .. youngest needs 2 fillings although very small and oldest needs big filling, he is refusing to get it sorted so i have told him that if he doesnt get it done all the money he has saved for a games console in Canada will be spent on his future trip to the dentist in canada so he will be paying for it .. BLOODY KIDS .. because he cant feel pain, he doesnt think he needs it doing .. its FREE in the UK .. it costs a small fortune in Canada .. i'll strangle him one of these days (not really) .. the kid is a wuss bag

Not just the treatment either. The first thing that'll likely happen at the dentist here will be an x-ray as a new patient. So there's a couple of hundred before the dentist has even done anything.

My sympathies and hugs :wub::wub:

you could be my twin just now in terms of general crappiness - had to have a whole heap of work done to the house which has cost a fortune (currently fighting with contractors over the bill, they are taking the proverbial).

hubby went back to Scotland last week to do some work in the aberdeen office before going to halifax for a month. while back in aberdeen, his dad's health has taken a downturn, and the nurse in the care home says it's the beginning of the end. so he's stayed there to spend the time with his dad. i'm stuck here working, passports are in london getting our pr visas in them (cos he work's in lots of countries, he has 2), and he is just having a completely crappy time of it, and i feel miles away. it's made worse by the fact that his mum died in July, so this is the second trip back this year for not nice reasons. the only hope on the horizon is that I am due to go over in a couple of weeks for my gran's 100th, so hopefully he'll still be there and I can support him better.

so, pretty much now how you feel - am now going to go and eat a whole tube of cheesy pringles since i don't do coffee.

anything i can do to help, feel free to pm.

and apologies for the thread hijack.

Appointment is next wednesday 9.15am .. dentist explained it bluntly to him .. he is just a stubborn little BA****d .. so now i can stress until then .. or maybe i could get the pliers out, sit on his chest and attempt to pull it out myself .. he would only have nightmares for the rest of his life and hate me forever but at least he would get his games console ..lmao

So, onto a new day with a new shiney, happy perspective.

What's that - oh it's the phone.

It's OH in the UK telling me our rental agents didn't pay enough rent into our UK account and we have missed a mortgage payment and could I pop $1500 over to sort it...ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I am off to start making my own money :curse:

I would now officially go on the record and say DO NOT USE FOX & SONS to rent your house out. They are bloody rubbish.

Hi Amy, I am sending you a cyber hug and hope things get better. Sorry to hear you are having a bad few weeks.

I recommend a large bar of cadbury's Aero or something similar, if you can get this in NS, a mug of coffee and curl up on the sofa, after putting kids to bed, and put on a good movie, one that will make you laugh.

Just chill and relax and take Val up on her Branston :D

Hope things look better soon, Emmjay

Definitely twins!

Yesterday OH was feeling a bit under the weather, I assumed it was just a typical case of man flu (i.e. a wee cold).

Nope, phoned him today, just back from the doctors and he has acute tonsilitis. Ho hum.

Tomorrow has to be better? Doesn't it!?

Chocolate would involve a walk through the icy snow to the shops...I don't want it that much today lol

Fox and Sons seems to be run by 18 year old estate agents who are complete idiotic wastes of space. Every time they do something stupid I think..surely they can't do anything to top this...but they prove they can!
