Well Halloween has come and gone and as usual it was very quiet at our house.
We had 8 possibly 11 kids, all around 15 years of age.
Why do I not know exactly how many? Well Mrs_P opened the door to the first group of three and I opened the door to the second group of eight but that could have included the first three back for more.

Anyway bottom line is we have lots of candy left over for us.

Not sure how long they lasted.

0 - same as usual. A long, unlit driveway doesn't encourage visitors. Being in a sparsely populated neighbourhood doesn't help either.

I've eaten all the crap myself this morning....

We had one group of 6. We'd got a bag of Werthers in just in case anyone called - we live on the edge of the village and there is only one house with kids in on our street. We're all wrinklies.

Last year's tally (or first year in our house) was a measly one little boy.
This year was slightly different - about 8 or 9 doorbell rings, usually with three or more kids at a time. In fact, we managed to get rid of more than half of the candy that was left over from last year
(I guess its the downside to getting to know your neighbours!!!)
