Haircut - Calgary

I've also found a lovely person at Angles (but prob too far for you). They are expensive, or more pricey anyway, but once you find someone you like, you pay!
I have also approached random strangers in the street - they don't seem to mind when you compliment their hair cut.

$57? wow and I thought $37 was expensive! I have had different hairdressers for more than 10 years, still trying to find a good one! Maybe it is because all the good ones move away because they get $57 elsewhere!

My last haircut in Calgary was at the swanky new barbers in Bow Valley Square. $29 plus $6 tip for a very satisfactory short back & sides, with a rather nice head massage and hot towels on the face etc. That's as gay as you like, but great.
It's a bit steep, granted, but there really aren't any other decent barbers downtown.

This may well be way out of your way to travel but my sis in law owns a salon just near Lacombe 2.5 hours from you - she has people travel a long way to go to her, because she listens to what you want - her colouring is incredible takes up to date courses to stay on top of the latest trends and always does a fantastic job.
Even back in the uk I could never find a hairdresser that does as good a job as she does, she can fix problems that other hairdressers have created too.
For a big dose of self esteem it's worth travelling for

The hairdresser I go to is okish, but I never have that lovely "just been to the hairdresser" feeling anymore
The one thing that pees me off is that they just never cut my fringe properly(I refuse to use that stupid word "bangs" outside of the salon) It's either left in my eyes or so short it looks like my eight year has hacked it with the scissors

I have walked out (twice) from salons where they made me feel uncomfortable, feeling a bit odd for a short time seemed better than having a hair it that made me feel bad,
