Maybe not. The first deep fried turkey I had was in Brooklyn, they ran an extension cord out of the apartment window and cooked on the sidewalk. You could do the same, admittedly at the cost of attracting hordes of the homeless.

No side walk, but I could do it on the lawn out front, never thought of that. Not many homeless around here, might interest some bears though....

keep checking, they usually come down in price between now & October 31.

Pumpkins are food, not just funky display items that get trashed on November 1st

I carve them on the 31st, and the MIL takes them on the 1st and makes some sort of stew with them.

I tried growing my own this year, but they all rotted before they ripened.

I saw Shania Twain in the Independant store on Broadway this afternoon, that's grocery related. I didn't realise who it was until I saw her pic on twitter just now.

We have a Canadian actor assuming he lives in town still that I have seen a couple times.

I forget his name, native actor who played one of the cops on Corner Gas.

Pumpkin continuation from above extra foods recuded the price to 2.49. The rest are 2.99 or 3.99 still.

That's Lorne Cardinal, I used to see him around here when Corner Gas was still going, and when they made the Corner Gas movie (haven't seen it but they shot some where I work) apparently there's a part where Davis strikes out on his own as a private eye or something and has a seedy grubby office in a dank basement.. they set that up right outside my office.

How about Dolly?

On the lighter side of Country I would say, seems quick likeable and doesn't take herself too seriously- I quite like Islands in the stream and that's about it!!!
I'm surprised about Caretaker and Twitter though- maybe it is his profile pic that makes me think that he wouldn't be a Twitter kind of guy- next he will be talking about things that he has seen on Pinterest !
