great music site
Hi all
Just to cheer anybody up who (like me) from time to time feels a bit lost and lonely in Canada and in need of decent music- there is a GREAT music site - www.lastfm.com - where you enter a band/whatever you like and it plays you a string of "similar artists" through your computer, but not ones you'd necessarily expect!
It's a fab way of finding out new bands or just listening to stuff you'd long forgetten about. I think it's done the same way as Amazon does it's "people who bought this also chose..." stuff.
It costs nothing to listen - it's like having your own personal radio station playing the kind of stuff you like but without the ads and cheesy announcers!
Anyway, forgive me if you already all know about this, but my OH and I have only just discovered it and thought we'd share!
