She had talent, no doubt.

First (produced) version is so much better than the second (phone-cam) version. She even seems a bit out of it in the second version.

Thanks for posting it.

Ms. Winehouse had some real talent.

As did this bloke.... a true International Superstar at the time. An absolute genius, in my opinion. Written when he was 16, recorded when he was 19 (1973) and the very first release of a new label, Virgin Records.

Geedee, great choice! It's impressive that they recorded the video on decent film, so much excellent music from the 70's was videoed on low grade TV tape, and sadly under-visualises some classic music. MO somehow is standing the test of time. If you ever have a chance to play an early 3d computer game called Tres Lunas, it's very good and has some decent MO music surrounding it. One of his projects in the 90's. Good article on him (he's generally interview shy) appeared in the DT last year:

i was a fan of Amy Winehouse when she first appeared on the scene, everyone seemed to focus on the fact she was a mad junkie, but she did have real talent

infact i first heard her on Steve Wright on Radio 2, the song shared a beat with "Nas - Made You Look" but I don't know what it was called...anyone shed some light?
