Going Back to UK for a quick visit...Taking Gifts!
#1
I'm going back for a weeks trip to visit family soon, and have a suitcase filled with gifts. I actually didn't have to spend too much, as it was all on sale at this time of the year, and I have kept all the receipts. Does anyone know how much I am allowed to take back through customs, and is it the same as if I were still resident in the UK, or now that I am a PR in Canada, is it different.
Hope I am making sense! Just trying to avoid having to pay a vast amount of duty on gifts for 12 different people!
Thanks
Sally

Thanks seaham girl...I remembered that bit from a similar experience, so will take the gift bags with me. I've even remembered to leave the price tags on till I get to the other end.
Excited to see everyone as I've not been back for a couple of years, and also excited to fill up my, by then, empty suitcase, with goodies from M&S!!!
