Been watching Top Boy on Netflix. I accidentally watched the 10 episode season (turns out season 3) before watching Toy Boy Summerhouse (Season 1+2)

anyway I got very confused until I realized I needed to see Season 1+2 first. I’m now re-watching season 3 and it makes more sense.

Have to say I prefer season 1+ 2 but still a great watch. If you can deal with drug dealing, violence, guns and London/Jamaican slang

Into season 3 of Berlin Station. Looks the best yet. Edge of the seat stuff.

I watched the first episode of "Watchmen" on HBO this week. Not quite sure about it but I suspect I'll keep watching it.

Ah, I had seen the listing for both of those and was wondering which one should be watched first, so thanks for the help with that

We've been watching Mr Inbetween which is I believe on FX / FXX. It is somewhat dark, but there are some rather amusing moments.

Been watching Kath and Kim (Aussie comedy) mainly as something in background. Gets repetitive but just so easy to listen to when I’m doing other things

i thought I recognized the shopping mall in it (Fountain Lakes) so I messaged my Aunt (she now lives in Queensland but used to live in Victoria) and asked if that was one of the shopping malls she took me to when I visited her almost 20 years ago. she confirmed it was lol

Season 2 of Unité 42 kicks off tonight on Belgian 'mainstream' TV.

I wasn't aware, but stumbled upon it when looking to see who was screening the US F1 Grand Prix.

The two broadcasts overlap, but my set-top box allows me in this instance to record both, so I can go back to playing catch-up on Berlin Station as originally planned. Yay!

Just binged watched "The Tunnel" on CBC GEM. An English/French production with some subtitles. Cops from both sides of the channel investigate a body found at the exact half way point of the channel tunnel. Very good.

A reworking of The Bridge, I believe.
(also like the beginning of Bon Cop, Bad Cop)

For some reason my usual sources stop at episode 4 on season 7 of Spiral and my usual VPNs are not working for BBC iPlayer although Hoxx is still good for ITV and C4.

The good news is free Australian streaming service SBS (sign up and VPN needed - Hoxx works) is showing it all, albeit with advertising breaks.

The advertising breaks are actually promotional clips for other shows available and there are a couple that look promising.

One is Pros and Cons, but the other (paging Fulwood) - Wisting - appears to be a Norway/US production and from the trailers it could be Scandi standard.

I read BBC have bought the rights.

Well, wouldn't you know it. A few days ago Hoxx add-on started working again for BBC so I was able to carry on with Spiral on iPlayer and just finished it all tonight.

Dunno how long it will last. It used to work every time and later it needed 3 or 4 refreshes - almost like making a phone call, getting an engaged signal and eventually getting through. Then it wouldn't work for a few days and then came back again.

Beebs with Opera's browser was so good that I stopped using Hoxx but then that packed up too and a few attempts at Hoxx were unsuccessful, so I assumed it was 'done' for good. But I've used it almost every night for the last week after trying it on the off chance.

Hoxx definitely allowed me access to Australia's SBS
