This dog lives in Canada. His owner is from Ireland. He's very thin. Desperately thin. He's called Bobby.

Yeah, we don't understand obscure scottish colloquialisms like that. Please can you explain it?

Bobby can't afford clothes or skis. Call 1-800-DO-NATE-OR to help skinny Bobby go skinny skiing. Extra pledges could help this malnourished hound afford some desperately needed food, or even a lovely hand knitted wool hoody.

A few years ago we agreed to take on a Cavalier King Charles spaniel from some 'Merkans who were relocating to Azerberjahn or somewhere where there is oil. He is a mature dog, utterly inoffensive, good natured and was already used to small kids. The perfect dog, if you will, for our young family.
One problem, he rejoices in the name "Bruiser". Why? Who knows, but one feels like a complete prat calling "Bruiser, heel" or "Bruiser, come" at this inoffensive little dog. But him being a mature dog we felt it wasn't fair to change his name. We'd had him for a few weeks before someone pointed out to us, that he was, in fact, very very deaf. Sleeping through Guy Fawkes night was a bit of a clue. So, not only do we have an inappropriately named dog, but standing there yelling his inappropriate name, is a waste of time. Ho Hum. |

It's not poor Simba, it's his big sister who's getting picked on...
She doesn't like him coming near her, otherwise OK but if he gets too close she shows off her big fangs and makes a loud "GRRRRR" sound. He doesn't care though, he probably already realises he's going to be bigger than her one day :sneaky:
