Funny names for pets in Canada

Looks like we're close to increasing the size of our family very soon, so we're currently challenged with naming the furball.

It's a boy, a tri-colour Border Collie. Sounds fancy but he's the smallest of the litter (not a runt, though, just runt-ish), is pretty ugly but offsets that with "kind" looking eyes.

I have a secret plan to come up with a funny name or pronounceable acronym that I can attempt to [innocently] convince the girls to choose as his name.

A name that, if you heard it, you'd have a laugh but the locals wouldn't blink an eye at ;)

Examples:

Frak
Growler
NED
Chav
Boner

Suggestions welcome (what's the worst we could get away with?)

Marmite.

Seriously, that was so very nearly our dog's name, but we bottled it. He's now called Smudge!

Oh, and I liked Rolo too. :o

A young girl (probably 13 or 14) at the dog park a few weeks ago was telling her dog Jack to stop rogering another.

"Jack off" she shouted a few times. She really had no idea.

If we had had another make dog we were going to call him Deefa. (As in D for dog)

 you can't call a dog Frak!:D

So far I've crossed Boner off the list. I think it's hilarious but it's a bit blatant and, obviously, I can't have my kid calling this word to her dog in public.

Teabag, on the other hand. Teabag the dog? I'm gonna get locked up for this thread, lol.

Nice suggestions. Spunky and I really like ******, as you can make people feel insulted by calling it out, then get out of trouble by showing them the dog tag with the name engraved on it.

Oi, ******! Come here!

Rolo. Hmmm, like it. Especially the idea that every time we call him, our other dog rolls over :D

Jockey, for Jockey Wilson. The only real requirement is that he have a 2 sylable name, as it's easier to yell than a single sylable when you're calling him.

You could go for some cockney rhyming slang: banker; Ertha (?) Kitt, Richard the third (which has the added bonus of being shortened to Dick). Alternatively, Cheese.

By the way, congratulations on the new addition :)
