It's only on 4 acres though, what if the neighbours are noisy, or smelly.

Are you sure you used to live in London? :D
It is, however, one way, perhaps the one way in which my perceptions have changed since I've been here. I now look at something like this: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-...-42061310.html and think they've a bit of a cheek in using horses in the pictures since there's no land to put them on. |

This is the worst i could find. The master suite is almost as big as our house.
http://beta.realtor.ca/propertyDetai...rtyId=13361192 After looking at many beautiful homes i now have house envy. |

Of course, but Londoners, being the salt of the earth, present no such difficulties.

Pleasant interior on that one. |

I believe that all should post pictures of their houses on here and then we can all decide which of the posters houses on here are vulgar.
Here goes;) |

"European kitchen" is the best. They have no idea that a real European kitchen is 6' x 6' and incorporates a 30 year Baby Belling cooker attached to a gas bottle and a vinyl curtain instead of cupboard doors.
Sadly, it seems that wealth is inversely proportional to taste in Calgary. With the exception of some of the older neighbourhoods, such as Mount Royal and Scarboro, expensive houses are ghastly. An oil executive built a new infill up the road from me last year. When my sister visited she was surprised to find a factory on a quiet residential street. |
