Forgive me BE, for I have sinned.

It's no good.

I'm assimilating.

I turned on my outside Christmas lights yesterday, to offer support to the Cochrane Light Up. And it was only the 24th November.

And I also like Hedley and Daughtry.

I am so sorry. :( :o

What are your new Canadian "sins"?

Feeling somehow justified as the Toronto Argos kick butt over the Calgary Stampeders.

Mea culpa. But I'll feel even better if Wild Rose, sorry the Conservative Party, lose Calgary Centre tomorrow,

Their collective butts were well and truly kicked (so I understand, not having a clue which way is up in ye old CFL).

Wild Rose? Meh. Is anyone voting tomorrow - I did not know. They probably didn't mention it in the headlines on Vaguely Pop/Lite/Soft/ Middle of the Road FM.

I fear it may be too late cheeky_monkey. I can get through nearly a whole Purdy's selection box.

And there are only so many Radio 4 Friday Night Podcasts I can listen to, before Middle of the Road FM sneaks it way back through the speakers.

Syrup and bacon - iaink, go and stand in the corner.

Bieber? Oh dear. I'm so sorry again. It's bad, isn't it? I have to forgive you on this one, you can't help it. I took my daughter to see Avril Lavigne last year so I cannot claim any moral high ground here. (Enjoy! :sneaky:).

You are a bastion of all things Brit.

My tongue is so firmly wedged in my cheek - I totally get there is nothing wrong with joining in. But music and Christmas lights were things I was holding firm on - and I failed.

But at least it's not Country Music, eh, mandymoochops?!

Is it OK to call someone a bastion??

Maple syrup and bacon IS good. So is coating bacon in black pepper and bworn sugar or maple syrup and baking it. It sets of the smoke detectors but it's worth it, bacon candy.

I had the opposite experience the other day. I was listening to Boards of Canada and the missus asked where they were from. I always assumed they were Canadian (cos, you know, the name), turns out they are scotch. I wasn't sure whether to be relieved or disappointed.

I see your Hedley (runners up for Canadian Idol no less) and raise you Nickelback who I floved when I first came to Canada. Of course, I didn't realise that a) every song they do is exactly the same and b) they are pretty disgusting excuses for human beings.

Other than that, I quite like Tim Hortons.

Found myself studying the crock pots which were on sale in Wal Mart last night but managed to pull myself away from a bargain just in time. Those pot lucks will have to make do with my good old cheese and pineapple hedgehog for a little longer.
