Forgive me BE, for I have sinned.

It's no good.
I'm assimilating.
I turned on my outside Christmas lights yesterday, to offer support to the Cochrane Light Up. And it was only the 24th November.
And I also like Hedley and Daughtry.
I am so sorry.

What are your new Canadian "sins"?

Wild Rose? Meh. Is anyone voting tomorrow - I did not know. They probably didn't mention it in the headlines on Vaguely Pop/Lite/Soft/ Middle of the Road FM.

Too many to count I suspect.
I sometimes say "toe may toe" now, automatically, without thinking
I like maple syrup on my crispy bacon
Worst of the recent ones is I have discovered I like Justin Bieber... offspring #1 is off to see him in teronna next week, so Ive been exposed to his musical offerings in the car, and hes alright...

And there are only so many Radio 4 Friday Night Podcasts I can listen to, before Middle of the Road FM sneaks it way back through the speakers.

By giving up the good fight. The void, the void - it pulls me in.

Bieber? Oh dear. I'm so sorry again. It's bad, isn't it? I have to forgive you on this one, you can't help it. I took my daughter to see Avril Lavigne last year so I cannot claim any moral high ground here. (Enjoy!

I'm really struggling to think of anything. Poutine?? nope - always loved cheesy chips with onion gravy. Tim Hortons (yuk) - nope I still put the kettle on and make nescafe instant or when I have time use the cafetiere
Ice Hockey?? nope - watched it in England.(live and on TV) Maple syrup on poor quality overcooked fatty streaks of so called 'bacon' - nope I still eat proper bacon without syrup!! Country music??? - NOOOO!!!!! Avril Lavinge - yes please but not her music
Canadian Chocolate??? - I have an account at Bulk Barn and take delivery of Yorkies by the pallet
It would appear that I' maintaining the thin red line.

Joking aside there is nothing wrong with asimilating if thats what someone wants. I enjoy living here and Im happy. I accept that there are differences some things better some things worse.
