Exactly. You said it better than I could have. This is what most of the people here in Hull have concerns about. The ones I know of and have spoken to.

the only thing i miss is the black and white of hull fc. but nithing else its been a roller coaster ride the first 6 month`s but we are loving it.

It was 46 degrees here today with the humidity, but if you shut the house up even if you don't have air conditioning, as I don't - its bearable.

I can't imagine what it must be like for those people returning to their houses - even after the water goes - they are full of stinking mud.

We made the move from Gloucester to Calgary in March,and aren't we glad right now.Temps here are 30 degrees plus.However our hearts go out to those dealing with this extremely bad flood,I just hope the new PM is good to his word.

Our water went off at 7pm last night - other parts of Cheltenham 12hours before. Cheltenham, Gloucester & Tewkesbury have been warned that we'll probably be without fresh water for 7 days & possibly as much as 14
Bowers are being placed round the affected areas & bottled water is being handed out.

It's been touch & go if an electricity plant that supplies Cheltenham, Gloucester & Stroud would get flooded. The River Severn was said to peak very early this morning that they were fighting against - it's looking hopeful that it's been saved.

We have not been flooded in Cheltenham, but we have a close friend in Gloucester who was on friday - his had gone by saturday morning & left with an awful mess. We also have a friend in Upton on Severn whos home is flooded & his buisiness in Tewkesbury which he can't get too. Watching the news it must be terrible for people who have been & still are flooded we feel we have got off lightly with the lack of water.

Whereabout are you in Gloucestershire were in Tewkesbury and its all happening here luckily our house hasnt flooded and we heard this morning that the flood level have now peaked so pleased but we have a friend staying who have been flooded out of their home
The removal guys managed to get in yesterday to ship our furniture luckily were on the only road open out of Tewkesbury

Its a huge portable container with taps they use to store water ,then they position them in at various destinations for people to have access to the water when the water supply has been affected

A tanker truck. Imagine the things you see delivering at gas stations, but full of water.

400 bowsers so far have been distributed in Cheltenham, Gloucester & Tewkesbury - they are aiming for 900.

Some are on wheels, the ones in Gloucestershire are not - I have driven past several today with queues of people waiting to collect water.

Listening to the local radio, people are reporting that some of the bowsers are being vandelised :curse:

A new area of Gloucestershire is going to be affected by loss of water later today - the Stroud area & will be having bowsers delivered.
