I saw the doc and the film within a few weeks of each other. There is also a doc about factory records, but can't remember what it's called.

Not seen the joe strummer one - will look out for it.

I think it is a Julien Temple doc. I thought it fascinating how instrumental and manufactured Strummer's punk image was. I never knew that before.

...the new Ian Dury one looks interesting. Andy Serkis(?) in the lead role. I'll go and see that if it gets a release over here.

Okay, Joe strummer doc and Control, check.

OH, just thought of another one that I hated but you might like. Sexy Beast. Really disturbing.

Me too, looking forward to this one.

Also, the new Blur: No Distance Left to Run, looks okay, hopefully it makes it over here in the cinema.

Death at a Funeral?

(Which I see they're already remaking ... an "American" version which apparently features some of the same cast from the original... )

He didn't have a very interesting life though, it'll just be The Tom Jones Story with a bit of polio thrown in.

Is that the one with Frodo in? It's quite good, definitely watchable, but not in the same league as ID or The Firm.

The thing about Green Streets, is, how come Frodo can beat up an Orc army but he can't a row with some Chelsea fans?
