Default Film suggestions?

I can't watch American or Canadian films I find them all shite, so I would ask you good people if you know of any good recent films that are set and made in the UK, about UK subjects, with UK actors that are out on DVD?

Cheers in advance,
Reg.

Have you seen any films by Shane Meadows such as Dead Man Walking or A room for Romeo Brass.
His films are usually set around the Midlands.
He is from Staffordshire.
Really good films to watch.

Hot Fuzz - really good, funny British film, starring Simon Pegg.

He is also in Shaun of the Dead and Run Fat Boy, Run. These films all make me howl with laughter. Not to some people's tastes but deffo ours.

Edited to add that sorry didn't realise you were asking for recent films. If you've not seen them then they are worth a look anyway. ;o)

The Damned United. Football related film, but absolutely great all the same. Stars Martin Sheen as Brian Clough. I'd highly recommend watching it.
