Feel panicy
I have a job to go to in Ontario. I've had my medical which they say will take 10 days to process. I have found the whole process challenging mainly because you are not able to talk to anyone at the Embassy! I am now applying for a national insurance no., which I was told you had to have your work permit before you can apply? So how long will that take now? Can anyone recommend banks, insurance brokers & medical companies in the Barrie region? Altho' its explained you must have UK medical cover to go to Canada, how long for? Can you not get cover for a short period then apply to a canadian medical company, surely it will be cheaper? Can anyone advise me on last minute things I will need to have or do before I go? We could really do with a list of things we need to be sure to do!!! Its almost funny, you don't know what to ask for, that you need, until you're in a situation where you know you haven't got what ever it is you're supposed to have!!!! Any advise would be helpful kind regards Ruthie
