I don't think I'd like Spam. Has anyone had either chicken or ham from a tin? It looks like it might be okay for emergencies.

Had the ham once many decades ago - was more jelly than ham.

That sounds too slimey. I quite like the Chunky Soup clam chowder. But I'm looking branch out and stock up as you never know what with Chile and Haiti.

My Mum has lots of tins of M&S chicken and ham. She keeps them in case war breaks out again. Strangely though I quite like the ham on sandwiches on Sunday afternoons, and she makes an awesome pie with the chicken (chunks in sauce).

Here, I am a fan of corned beef hash. In the UK this would be a top choice:

I thought the ham might be good on sandwiches, but maybe they have better tinned ham in the UK.

I'm with you on the all day breakfast, that does look good.

I particularly like the 'mini scotch eggs'.

Stagg's chili is pretty good here too, though you pay the price the next day if you go for the Dynamite Hot with beans option!

Quite a choice:

I had that for lunch in a Thermos when I took a boating course. I found the meat bits a little too chewy for my liking.
