Favourite smells

Re: Favourite smells
Long along and in another country, one would lift and shake the bed cover, nudging one's partner gleefully, "wafting" we called it. Now, sleeping in a room with a whippet and a greyhound, one can drink twelve pints of ESB with a vindaloo and one's best efforts still go unnoticed.
Today we walked past a couple of people who had a bong going on the pavement, that's always a nice smell. Warm and comforting, like a wet dog in front of the fire.

A good friend once told me kids are like farts. You love your own but everyone else's are disgusting

I love the smell of that upvc soft plasticky stuff they make kids umbrellas with, or those cheap rain ponchos you get in Florida. I could get high on a few deep whiffs of that.
Oh, and freshly cut grass, of course, wet dog, bread baking, lavender and Vapo-rub!

I know what you mean re the plasticky smell... That is a great suggestion.
Rosemary, sage, I agree -lavender, nail polish...
I'm not feeling everyone's love of dog paws and wet dog- sweat and well, wet fur.... Maybe Stinky needs a bath

We were in a harness shop yesterday, that place smells as good as the cheese shop.
