Default Family friendly hotels

Does anyone know of any family orientated hotels in Nova Scotia? Our kids will be 6 + 8 and we're looking at going next May for a holiday/recce for about two weeks.

We travelled around New Brunswick and Nova Scotia during July/August and stayed in various accommodations.

We found that Lakeview Inns & Suites and Country Inns & Suites offered family rooms which were clean, comfortable and within our budget. The family room (suite) offers one bedroom with a king size bed and an additional double sofa bed in the living area. You also have kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast was included in the price.

Hope this is of some help.

Thumbs up Re: Family friendly hotels

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Harbourview in Dartmouth in August 08 with our 2 children 8 and 6. We booked online and got an executive suite for 2 weeks £1500. Once there they upgraded us to a "shades of summer" promotion for no extra cost which meant we got breakfast every morning. It was a lovely clean hotel and the staff were very friendly. We would definately stay there again. It also includes complimentary parking facilities. Some hotels in Halifax charge parking on top! There was also an outdoor pool and Cafe 101 which we ate in now and again for lunch or evening meal. Food very good.
