There speaks a person with easy access to an Ikea!!! Bitter! No, not I! ...except for the odd day and the months with a consonant in them.
And they're doing renovations atm to become the biggest in North America. |

Can you get Walpurgisnacht trinkets, maybe a nice Baba Yaga, at Walpurgismarkt?

I had an arguement wth my tree yesterday (pre lit crappy tire jobby) and obviously the last 3 years of throwing it up into the shed for storage and hauling it down without a great deal of care - caused the middle section to be un-pre-lit, therefore after f****g 3 hours of trying to sort out the problem I picked the whole thing up and threw it as far as I could. (not too far its 7ft tall and quite heavy)
Obviously it broke some more but god it felt good  I was REALLY tempted by the pre-lits but after what you said Mandy, it put me off a bit. How hard can it be to put lights on a tree? Granted they don't look as neatly done but once all the frippery is on, who would know. i'd say from looking around, Sears had the best tree (pre lit, nice quality, I think it was $179 - but they'd sold out).....so Walmart was the best other option. Don't expect gorgeous though....I may even be tempted to take it back and get the next one up....but compared to others I've seen at $400+ I'd say it's a bargain(but I'm just a fussy whatsit when it comes to trees :sneaky:). |

I'm the only one in my house that deals with the 'joy' of putting up the Christmas decs. OH would rather stick rusty nails in his eyes and seventeen year old son is too lazy to be bothered :sneaky:
