Closed Circuit
A bomb, investigation, cover-up, conspiracy...I really enjoyed this one.
There are a couple of moments when you think "oh, come on..." but all part of the plot.
I liked how the delivery of ordinary words conveyed such menace.

What, like when Johnny five says " Hey laser lips, your mama was a snowblower"?

If you enjoy stylised violence then you might enjoy one man killing machine John Wick.
Pretty high body count.

Re: Everyone's gone to the movies
I'd like to see the new Dad's Army film, but I understand it isn't coming to Canada. Does anyone know another way to watch it? Presumably it will be released as a DVD eventually.

No, nor me. Sounds like will be great to watch. I'm a fanatical Dad's Army fan (even got all the scripts!). I've got a library of reference books too (sad I know). Just looked it up and it's out for release on June 13th this year.

Last Orders. The old guys carry out a friend's wish to scatter his ashes in the sea at Margate.

Re: Everyone's gone to the movies
My all time favourite movie is Cinema Paradiso from 1988, written and directed by Giuseppe Tornatore.
10 years on and The Legend of 1900 was another of his. Unusual but very watchable.
Tonight I finished The Best Offer, another masterpiece. Again, unusual but intriguing.
