Another from a few years ago, Get Him to the Greek

You don't have to like Russell Brand to enjoy this knockabout nonsense. A tolerance for crude humour will help.

See a snippet of every Oscar winning movie.

Mindless, predictable, hackneyed, clichéd, shoot-em-up, blow-em-up, unrealistic, nonsense.

Decent bit of fun.

The Expendables 3.

Or was it 1 or 2? Does it matter?

The Sum of Histories. Or in Dutch, Terug Naar Morgen, although it's a Belgian movie.

It's about sending emails back to the past to change the future and ther consequences that follow. It's a bit butterfly effect.

I sat down to watch Spotlight this afternoon planning to watch it in two parts.

But I had to watch it all the way through, it was that good.

Fans of All The President's Men and The Newsroom will enjoy this.

I can imagine applause from cinema-goers at the end.

Brilliant. So many I have watched; so many more I have meant to watch. Thanks for posting.

Black Mass. Got fed up of it. The only reason I'm commenting is to say Johnny Depp was completely unrecognisable in the role. Didn't even sound like him.

Just watched The Intern.

Fluff...but that's not always a bad thing and it wasn't bad. A little over long at two hours.

I watched it because it was funny to see the FBI portrayed as a bunch colluding idiots.

Although I must say Irish American gangsters are not nearly as entertaining and funny as Italian American gangsters.

The Lady in the Van.

The actor playing Alan Bennett was quite convincing and Maggie Smith is good value as ever.

But not a must see.
