I like this one too.

I just watched 10 Cloverfield Lane.... I had a few expectations as I loved Cloverfield... Very sadly disappointed. John Goodman was good enough ( no pun intended ) I wouldn't bother. Poor plot, first 2/3 drags then incredulity sets in.

I thought the first half was getting to be a tight thriller, then the ridiculous second half started and it all went to pot. Not sure why they didn't just keep the story as a "Misery" type thriller.

Recently watched "Deadpool". Rather enjoyed it, as a profane take on the Superhero genre. Ryan Reynolds has found his ideal role.

I read a review that made it sound worth a look.

A big gosh...and only slightly off topic... The new films that are in the box office for July are....

Ghost busters
Jason Borne
Independence Day
Star Trek
The Purge

They none of them, particularly, float my boat...but they have my husband and son all in a dither:thumbup:

I just spent the weekend with Gunpowder, Treason and Plot..Old - 2006, but a good historical romp, and some good actors... Worth the watch....

I liked all the Jason Bourne movies and, so far, the Star Trek reboots have been good.

Keeping an eye open for Eye in the Sky and Our kind of Traitor.

A change of pace from Peaky Blinders tonight.

An oldie but goldie.

Neil Simon's The Cheap Detective.

Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, To Have and Have Not, The Big Sleep all rolled into one. Superb stuff.

Not English but I wanted to post this scene and it's the only version I could find.

This is one people will love or hate..Brothers Grimsby I bloody loved it-must be my weird sense of humour. Childish, coarse, smutty but I thought very funny:o Yet another Sacha Baron Cohen persona
I loved A million ways to die in the west for similar reasons- again, a film you will love or hate.:thumbup:

Oh dear, I think you are going to be in the other group of people:unsure:

Movie fun fact- when we were on a tour of Paramount studios in LA, a guy walked passed us having come out of a building , very tall, and I thought " I know you" then realised it was SBC, he strolled off to his car, a Prius:lol:

We also saw nearly the whole cast of Community, apart from Chevy Chase wandering around on a break from the set. Snoop and I wouldn't have known, never watched it but younger pup had and for once seemed quite excited. Snoop was more excited about standing on the same stage that Rachel Berry from Glee had sung on

Bugger. I meant to make a new post but I edited the earlier one by mistake.

Fortunately you saved the original for posterity. Ha.
